What to Expect

Most patients will find that their first visit involves filling out registration materials – either online or on paper. We want to find out what your concerns are, what your health overall has been, other doctors you may have seen, and what your expectations are from us. To satisfy regulations, you will need to have your driver’s license, your insurance cards, a list of medications, and any other information you feel is beneficial for us to know about you.

Advance Chiropractic will answer your questions

In a nutshell for every problem, we’ll try to answer these questions for you:

What’s wrong?
Can it be treated?
How much is it going to cost?
How long will treatment take?

Your first visit with the doctor usually is 30-45 minutes. During that time he will review your information, ask questions, complete a thorough examination involving movement, orthopedic and neurologic testing, and palpation or feeling for painful areas and muscle conditions. You will be given a report of his findings and recommendations for care. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions.

Patients are usually given some form of treatment on the first visit unless there are concerns about their condition. You will receive a full explanation of the charges you have, what to expect from insurance coverage, and payment expectations.

Money is NOT the focus, understanding is.

Return visits, or regular treatment visits are usually no more than 10 minutes for adjustment and a little longer if other therapy is used. Instructions for home care and exercises are also given as treatment and recovery progresses.
